There are basic guiding principles for creating the perfect eyebrow – measurements involving the spacing and the relationship between space, angles of the face, and the nose and eyes as to where the brow should begin, end, and where it should arch. However, there is a great variance between different faces and what brow suits each – there is no one ‘perfect brow’ for all. We will take some basic measurements of your face, look at symmetry (no one is perfectly symmetrical, not even supermodels!) and work out the best way to balance your face. Generally, we use the Phibrows Golden Ratio brow mapping method for guiding brow shape – however it’s not a cut-copy approach and we will make individual adjustments. We will also take into account your existing brow hairs and generally not making any changes that are too dramatic to where the brows grow, or used to grow.
We will usually ask you to show us some photos of yourself with your brows filled in the way that you like or show us what sort of brow shapes and colour you find appealing. We find this is a good place to start, as it shows we what you are used to, what your personal makeup style is, and your colour preferences before we design a brow for you. We will always show you the drawn shape before any tattooing begins, for your approval and consent about how the shape will look.
